Travel Advice

We are located on the university campus. You can reach us using public transport, by car or by air.

Public Transport

Arrive at Paderborn Hauptbahnhof (main station). You find further information about how to reach Paderborn by train at the Deutsche Bahn Website. Leaving the station you find the bus station to your right hand side on the same side of the road. Take line 4 towards Dahl or line 9 towards Kaukenberg and leave the bus at exit Uni/Südring. You find the exact schedule and fare information at the pages of the PaderSprinter (German only).

From there you have to walk approximated 5 min. Follow the pedestrian way right hand downhill towards a short tunnel. At the end of the tunnel turn left on Fanny-Nahtan-Straße and follow the street passing building L, underpass building N and reach building O. Here is a map of the campus.

By Car

Take the A33 and exit at Paderborn Zentrum (exit 27). Follow the signs Universität and turn onto the street Pohlweg. You can use this map for driving information within town.

By Air

The nearest airport to Paderborn is Paderborn/Lippstadt (PAD) located about 25 kilometers south-west and conveniently connected to the international airport Munich (MUC).

From the airport Paderborn/Lippstadt you can

  • rent a car
  • take a taxi (approx. EUR 30)
  • take a bus, line S60 or 460, provided by bbh to Paderborn Hauptbahnhof (main station). From the follow the instructions above for public transport.
