The Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing is pleased to announce the release of PERSEUS 0.14.0, the latest version of its open-source software for project and resource management at scientific computing centers. Building on the foundations established in previous releases, version 0.14.0 delivers a wide range of new features, usability improvements, and administrative enhancements that further streamline the management of HPC projects and infrastructure.
A More Powerful Platform for HPC Administration
PERSEUS 0.14.0 introduces improvements across nearly every aspect of the platform. The release further enhances project lifecycle management, simplifies administrative workflows, and provides greater flexibility for computing centers with diverse organizational structures.
Among the highlights are:
- Introduction of Andromeda as user frontend
- Event system for custom states and services
- Management of compute jobs, project memberships and resource priorities
In addition to these user-facing enhancements, the release includes a broad range of internal improvements, bug fixes, API refinements, and infrastructure updates that further increase the stability and maintainability of the platform.
