PC2 conducts research at the intersection of parallel computer architecture, efficient methods for large-scale simulations, and challenging scientific applications. Our work ranges from fundamental to application-orient research and is often carried out in collaborative third-party funded projects or as joint work with users of our infrastructure.
The PC2 Technical Report Series is a comprehensive platform for documenting and sharing valuable technical knowledge created or acquired at PC2 with the high-performance computing community.
Our HPC infrastructure is the basis for the research of hundreds of scientists from all over Germany. The focus is on computer-aided natural sciences and engineering, in particular physics, chemistry and materials science.
