Step 4: Ex­tend Pro­ject Dur­a­tion

Certain types of projects can also extend the project's duration. More information can be found in the table below.

NHR-large Possible once during the approved period of the application. Write a short email to pc2-support@uni-paderborn.de with the requested change.

Possible, requires follow-up project application:

- you can copy your last project application and re-apply for an extension via our online proposal system: link for NHR-large project, link for NHR-normal project

- Copy your previously submitted (finalized) application to avoid filling out all fields again.

- Make sure to select "follow-up" on the project data-page.

- Use the simplified detailed description template for extensions (DOCX, TeX).

In­form­a­tion for Ex­ist­ing Com­pute Time Pro­jects

Step 1: Project start. If you do not have a running project and want to apply, check the main system access page

Step 2: Manage your running compute time project

  • Get access (user accounts and project membership)
  • Change the compute contingent, file system quota or HPC system

Step 3: Reporting

Step 4: (Optional) Extend project duration
